John M. Dellova
November 25, 1961 to May 16, 2020
(age 58)

John M. Dellova passed away on May 16th, 2020. John was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 25th, 1961 to Ludwig and Dolores Dellova.

John was a loving and devoted husband and father. He is survived by his wife Maryann (nee Comisi) and their beautiful daughters Laura and Jennifer. John was a loving son to Dolores and the late Ludwig Dellova and brother to Donna Verbeck (nee Dellova).

John was the happy go lucky “Mayor” of the neighborhood and a good friend to all. He was personable and loved to share stories. He was quick to listen, quick witted, and offered advice freely. John had a fun loving heart and was amazingly generous. He never forgot what it was like to be playful.

John loved life, his family, and friends. He will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations directly to
Nassau County AHRC Foundation for the benefit of Citizens/Seaford House
189 Wheatley Road #3, Glen Head, NY 11545 –

John Michael is one of the greatest people I've ever known. He was gregarious and warm, and so much fun. Yet he was wise and patient and he always gave the best advice (knowing he was probably wasting his breath, but giving it anyway out of love). I'm sorry I let distance keep us from staying close. He is going to be deeply missed.

Our sincere condolences to the Dellova family. We will miss John - his warm smile and great attitude. Having worked with John at Deloitte, we shared so many moments, but post 9/11, while we worked endless emotional days and hours as a close team at Cantor Fitzgerald’s backup recovery site in Paramus NJ made such a life altering impact. He touched our hearts. Doug & Deb

I’ll always think of John sitting on his porch smiling. When I moved he came to the street and hugged me. Tears were in our eyes. He ( and Maryanne) were good neighbors, sweet, and good people. John will be missed by all who knew him. Sending love to Maryanne, Laura, Jennifer and all the family. Tina Adwar

Dear friend, how time flies by. Thanks for all your guidance, laughs, and impossible no win discussions ending with great dinners and a few libations, okay many. John and Maryann, you were both so welcoming to the Deloitte family with your infamous summer bashes by the pool. Thanks for your open arms. John, Rest In Peace and continue being an angel to Maryann, Laura, Jenny and your family. Let’s share a toast together of Johnny Walker Blue
